These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website and making a purchase from Quaint, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our website.

1.2 'Customer' refers to any visitor of the webshop, whether a natural person or legal entity, who places an order at www.quaintvintage.nl.

2. Application

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed at the webshop www.quaintvintage.nl.

2.2 By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the application of these General Terms and Conditions.

2.3 Any deviations from these General Terms and Conditions are only valid if agreed upon in writing. In such cases, all other provisions of these General Terms and Conditions remain fully in force.

2.4 Quaint Vintage reserves the right to modify or update these General Terms and Conditions at any time.

3. Agreement

3.1 An agreement is established from the moment an order confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer. The customer and Quaint Vintage agree that the use of electronic communication forms creates a valid agreement once the order confirmation has been sent. The electronic records of Quaint Vintage shall serve as sufficient evidence, to the extent permitted by law.

4.1 Quaint Vintage is committed to protecting customer data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data will be stored securely and used only for the following purposes:

• Processing the order, payment, and delivery to the correct shipping address.

• Improving user experience on the webshop.

• Providing information about promotions, special offers, and newsletters (only if the customer has opted in).

5.1 Information provided on the website, via email, orally, or over the phone, including images and product descriptions, is presented as accurately as possible. However, Quaint Vintage cannot guarantee that all products will fully match the provided descriptions. Minor deviations in vintage and second-hand products are not grounds for compensation or contract termination.

5.2 If a product significantly deviates from the description on the website, Quaint Vintage will take appropriate action to resolve the issue to the customer’s satisfaction.

 

6. Purchasing from Quaint

 

6.1 By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms that all details provided are accurate and complete. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

6.2 Quaint Vintage reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or limit quantities purchased if we suspect fraudulent activity or violations of these terms.

7. Pricing and Payments

 

7.1 All prices on our website are displayed in Euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

7.2 We accept payments via Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna, debit cards, credit cards, and PayPal.

7.3 Quaint Vintage reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. In case of pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price.

 

8. Shipping and Delivery

 

8.1 Shipping Costs

• Within the EU:

  • Orders under €99: €5 shipping fee.

  • Orders over €99: Free shipping.

• Rest of the World:

  • Orders under €149: €15 shipping fee.

  • Orders over €149: Free shipping.

8.2 Processing Time

​

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

8.3 Delivery Time

​

Delivery times vary based on your location. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for delivery within the EU and 4-20 business days for international orders. Delivery times may be longer during busy periods or due to customs processing.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for any additional customs, taxes, or duties charges incurred upon delivery.

9. Right of Withdrawal

 

9.1 As a customer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without providing any reason.

9.2 To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email at info@quaintvintage.nl.

10. Effects of Withdrawal

 

10.1 If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received, including the original shipping cost, within 14 days from the date we receive the returned goods or proof of return. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

10.2 The customer must return the goods within 14 days from the date of withdrawal notification. Return shipping costs are covered by Quaint Vintage only in cases of incorrect or defective items.

 

11. Returns and Refunds

 

11.1 If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receipt.

11.2 Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, and (if present) with all original tags attached. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

​

11.3 Refunds are processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item. The original shipping cost paid by the customer will also be refunded where applicable.

​

11.4 As we specialize in second-hand and vintage items, minor wear and tear consistent with age is not considered a valid reason for return.

12. Liability

​

12.1 Quaint Vintage shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12.2 We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, slight variations may occur due to the nature of vintage and second-hand products.

13.1 All content on the Quaint Vintage website, including but not limited to images, text, and graphics, is the property of Quaint Vintage or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use of our content is prohibited.
